You can definitely add Shakeology and the p90X recovery drinks to a Paleo diet, but if your goal is to add 25 lbs of muscle you’ll need to shelf the “BeachBoy” workouts and get back to the basics: deadlifts, squats and bench press. Adding 25 lbs of muscle is no joke and it could take years, especially if you plan on maintaing 10% BF. The key to adding muscle mass is - calories in > calories out. Every bodybuilder and fitness athlete has an off-season where they’ll train with heavy weights using compound movements and they up their calories. They’ll put on quality muscle mass along with some fat for a few months and then cut down as they approach a show or a photo shoot. You need to adopt this type of approach if you want to add on muscle. Obviously there is more to it than I wrote here, but it’s a start.

Yes, I continue to take AlphaBrain. I recommend it, if you have the money to spend on it. It can get quite expensive but I find that it really does help with focus and cognitive thinking.
